The most valuable lesson what I learned was when it was 2nd quarter in 6th grade and I was washing my shoes in the bathroom sink. Me and Jeshua got into trouble. We both felt so bad cause it was announced in front of 6th grade. I went to the principal's office, wrote a letter to the janitor saying sorry, and cleaned it up. So it taught me a very valuable lesson of just to get a paper towel and wipe my shoes. I will never forget that bad thing. Cause that time is gonna be the last time that I'm gonna get into trouble.
The most valuable lesson I learned while at Maunawili was to always do all of my homework. It was the most valuable lesson I learned because, before when I used to get incompletes I used to not get to do anything extra that was fun, like watching movies with the class. When ever other people got to watch the movies I always got mad but at the same time I knew it was my fault. Therefore that is the lesson that I have learned and i'll remember.
The most valuable lesson I learned at Maunawili is. That teasing is wrong because if you don't like to be teased what makes it o.k for you to tease other people. It hurts there feelings and makes you look like a bad role model to the younger kids. Because then the younger kids think they can tease other people thats what valuable lesson I learned.
I believe that the most valuable lesson that I learned during my time here at maunawili was to be myself, I used to think that because all my friends were kind of tom-boy I had to be in order for them to like me. I find that teachers and staff at maunawili are always trying to encourage students to be themselves. I liked the way that I was getting accepted from my friends and other kids around me too. But as time grew on I wasn't happy. So from that moment on I told myself that I would not try to be someone else. The next day at school I wore a skirt and a nice top with sandals, rather than the usual baggy pants, shirt and shoes. Afraid that my friend would make fun of what I was wearing, I walked to them. Supprised to not here any laughing I looked at them, and they just said the normal "high". From there I would express myself in a girly fashion and a tom-boy fashion, and not be afraid of what others think. I wore both girly clothes and tom-boy clothes and nobody cared it was like nothing ever changed. Now today I still wear that same attire. It is a relief to know that my friends will accept me for who I am. I like the way I am and i'm sure that my friends do too.
The most valuable lesson I learned while at Maunawili was to not procrastinate. If you procrastinate then it will be hard to finish your homework on time. That is, unless you have an excuse. But an excuse won't get you anywhere. Be a good time manager. You should use your time wisely to get your assignments done. Assignments especially like projects. Its not a good habit to procrastinate because it is going to be more difficult once you get into college. Therefore, I learned to not procrastinate. That was the most valuable lesson I've learned while at Maunawili Elementary.
Lessons, lessons! Science, Math, Reading, and Writing! Not that kind of lessons! The most valuable lesson I learned at Maunawili was to be myself. Being yourself was an important thing! I've learned that the hard way. I got in trouble for doin something a boy told me not to, and now I am deeply sorry. If I look at myslef in the mirror, I no longer look like myself and now I wish I was. I thought my life then was so boring, so I started to try get in trouble. Putting drama in your life is exciting, but then you start to turn into another person. Now that I have learned my lesson, I want to go back to my normal self. Since I have turned into someone else, I have changed completely! I no longer want to be that person, but the person I was, the good person.
There are many things I've learned since I got to Maunawili Elementary. One of those things are a valuable lesson. One valuable lessons I've learned since I got to Maunawili are, to make good choices in the people you hang out with. It is always a good choice to make good decisions in the people you hang out with because, if you choose to hang out with people you and your friends and everyone else knows that person always gets in trouble, you shouldn't hang out with them. If you hang with them, your just gonna get in trouble as well. That is the valuable lesson I've learned.
The most valuable lesson I learned from former principal and current Kailua Complex Super, Mrs, Arlyne Yonemoto. Arlyne taught me to always consider and "do what is "best for the child." I have not only taken this advice as a school counselor, but as a mother too! I will forever me grateful for her mentoring and will never forget the 5 years of her outstanding leadership. I miss her guidance and her reassuring nature. Thank you Arlyne!
The most valuable lesson I learned from Maunawili Elementary School to love children unconditionally. It is one of the best schools I've experienced and it is because of the way our Faculty and Staff love the children of Maunawili Elementary School.
the most valuable lesson I learned was to pay attention. Paying attention also helps to make you focus and do a better job. Although I am lazy and I cannot help it I do pay attention and it helps me get my work done faster. Unfortunately I do an okay job and not a 100% quality job. I will probably regret this in the future years but I am glad I accept it. Maunawili is a great school with good opportunities for children
I learned soooo much at Maunawili it's near impossibe to pick only one lesson! I guess it would have to be do your best. You can't go wrong doing that! If you do, then all your homework will get completed and you'll make lots of friends! Doing your best will help you succeed in life. I want to thank all the teachers who helped teach me this extremely valuble lesson!
